Guy Harlan Mowell, Sr., born November 10, 1925, joined the hosts of heavenly angels during his sleep Sunday morning, September 3, 2017.Guy was a long time member of McKinney’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael and Guy Jr.; and by his grandson, Brian Lee Mowell.He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elsie; his children, Lawrence Mowell and Regina (Jimmy) Wallen; two special daughters-in-law, Debbie and Teresa; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, including Sarafina, the “light of his eye.”Special thanks to our McKinney’s Chapel church family and to UT Hospice.The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry W. Lawson and Rev. Johnny Seymore officiating. Price, 61, of Marion, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at her home.Sherri was born in Galion, on July 3, 1956 to the late Harlan Ray and Barbara (Staats) Swim.Sherri graduated from Northmor High School. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her cat, Peaches.She is survived by her children; Danielle and Andrew Christy, of Marion, Brenda and Todd Barstow, of Lancaster, Edward and Stephanie Price, of Galion, her brothers; Ryan and Sue Swim, of Iberia, and Alan Swim, of Galion; 12 grandchildren; Briana Garee, Taylor Garee, Hunter Garee, Noah Cromer, Mikael DeWitt, Molly Price, Mason Price, Melodee Barstow, Parker Jack Price, Carsyn Price, Emma Price, and Justice Price; two great-grandchildren, and one on the way in November.She was preceded in death by her granddaughter; Kate-Lynn Price.Friends may call Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at the Schneider-Gompf Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Lillo officiating.
